Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I get so much spam comments on a daily basis that it takes me a while to weed through them all. Thanks for the compliment on my voice, although I am not sure I could get anyone to surf if I offered CD’s of myself for prizes. I hope to have the time to get back in my studio, but I have a full plate with my repair business, working on SEO for local sites, building websites for others, and working on a new TE that I hope to have up and running soon.

Idaho is a fun place to explore! I hit the mountains every summer with my metal detector, and have found some pretty valuable things. I moved here almost 15 years ago, and with all there is to do here I will probably never leave.

There are a few traffic exchanges that I purchased last year at a low price, and they are gone. One was Traffic Colony which I had commissions and I lost it all.

I own 3 T E s 2 are Ventrino. the other is LMFTE. There are a lot of things i like about both. Both are very easy to customize. You really wont go wrong with ether.

Thanks for giving us your "2 cents." As one of, if not my top surfer your opinion does matter. Don't give up on trying to win if I continue the $5 Prize Page Promo, because as you can see from my comment to Meridith, the majority of the surfers in the promo are either free or Platinum Record Members. Your Platinum Record yearly membership may give you an edge over free members, depending on how many you collect.

Before I started the $5 Prize Page Promo, I gave it a lot of thought on whether to pick from all the reports, or to pick the member with the highest number of reports.

A member with a top upgrade would win most times if he/she surfs long enough using the most reported because of a shorter surf timer as Arlene stated above. By drawing from a total of reports It think it is more fair.

The reason for this is because 75% of members who have a Pro membership are Platinum Record. We only have 3 with the top Hall of Fame Membership, and 4 with the Entertainer Of The Year Membership. The majority of the surfers who have participated in the past three $5 Prize Page Promos have been free members, and the rest made up of a few JV Partners, Gold Record and Platinum Record Members.

We won't be having the Promo this Saturday as usual, but depending on the responses I get on this thread I may run it again next Saturday. I apologize to members who joined recently being attracted to the $5 Prize Page Promo, but since the participation was down I had no choice.

As a very regular surfer– I suppose I better put in my 2 cents worth. I like the idea of the $5.00 promo but doubt if I could ever win. I think the members who have the highest membership and the short timers will be able to surf much more and most likely be the winners. I surf every day I am online and always attempt to do the most surfing I can on Friday . It works for me. Thanks for being "Honest Steve".

I am not a regular surfer at your site either but maybe if it was possibly a "whoever finds and reports the most wins" kind of thing, might draw more of a "crowd". I enjoy this promo either way.
